LUCID DREAMING WORKSHOP with Ryan Hurd (Friday, August 20 from 6-9PM): Lucid dreaming is the ability to know you're dreaming and make choices in the dream. This paradoxical state of sleep is the gateway to many other extraordinary states of mind that have been practiced by healers and mystics for millenia. This workshop covers ways to remember more dreams, introduces tactics for increasing the likelihood of lucid dreaming, and provides a holistic perspective for working with lucid dreaming and other extraordinary states of consciousness, including sleep paralysis visions, out-of-body experiences and otherworldly visitations. Ryan Hurd is a lifelong lucid dreamer, editor-in-chief of Dreamstudies.org and author of Sleep Paralysis: A Guide to Hypnagogic Visions and Visitors of the Night. He has a MA in Consciousness Studies from John F Kennedy University, and is a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams. His approach to dream studies has been featured in Psychology Today and the Huffington Post. Cost is $20. To register, call us at 354-4062 or email us a info@icheartlandyoga.com.
