Rachel first stepped onto a yoga mat in 1997. A former Modern and Ballet dancer, her interest in yoga as a movement art form led her to explore its many different styles. Rachel began teaching hatha yoga after completing her certification in December 2007 from the Denver Institute of Yoga, delving deeply into yoga's other limbs such as philosophy and meditation. In January of 2008, Rachel began her specialized training in Anusara yoga, a heart-centered, uniquely integrated approach which includes all the things that make yoga a truly life-enhancing practice. She is a graduate of the 108-hour Anusara Immersion and also the Anusara Level I Teacher Training, both led by world-renowned senior teacher, Amy Ippoliti.
